Maranello

The Ferrari tour of Italy by Red Travel includes a special visit to Maranello, a little town in northern Italy 18 km from Modena, probably best known as the home of Ferrari cars and Scuderia Ferrari F1 racing team. Maranello was also home to the Carrozzeria Scaglietti, now owned by Ferrari.

Maranello has been the location for the Ferrari factory since the company was first created by Enzo Ferrari and also the public museum Galleria Ferrari with cars and trophies is located here.

Near Maranello is the town of Fiorano Modenese where the Fiorano race track is located, a private circuit owned by Ferrari for its car testing.
