You will feel almost compelled to bring your Ferrari to a halt to take a photo or two of the yellow and ochre hues of the fields in summer and the long rows of vines that sit so well in the landscape.

Every now and then a compact little Romanesque church, a stone farmhouse or a row of haystacks will compete for your camera’s attention.
