La Caravella, since 1959, is nowadays one of the finest and most important restaurants of Southern Italy. It is located beside the Ancient Shipyards of Amalfi in a building of the XII century. It entered the "gotha" of restaurants during the Sixties when it was one of the first to be awarded with the Michelin Star.
The elegant ambience hosts an important collection of ceramics from Vietri from 1800 to the present time and is considered today as a restaurant - museum.
